CRCRC and Fastraxx Hobbies is excited to announce that we will be combining our indoor and outdoor racing efforts for the coming seasons. After much deliberation and consideration, the presiding officers of our two great entities have decided to combine our efforts and create one indoor racing complex that will take club racing to the next level! Additionally we will be applying the same efforts to the outdoor facility at Hidden Spring Raceway! Our Goals are simple: to create one of the best indoor and outdoor RC race programs in the Midwest. Many of you may have questions regarding this issue and why we have decided to unite the two groups, please allow us to elaborate.
Indoor racing: CRCRC will maintain its club building and indoor race facility in Columbus Ohio, as well as continue to put on the largest indoor race in the Midwest, the CRCRC Midwest Gas/Electric Championships aka the “January Race”. The Halloween race, Points series and April fools race will also continue to exist. Fastraxx Hobby Shop will remain open and continue to do business in Springfield, Ohio.
Additionally, Fastraxx will have an on site mobile shop at CRCRC during the indoor season. Dirt Fest and Race-olution races (previously held at Fastraxx) will now be held at CRCRC.
Outdoor racing: Fastraxx will continue to operate the outdoor facility at Hidden Spring Ranch. CRCRC will continue to support the outdoor facility as it has this summer.
We feel this merger / union of efforts will be a positive influence on our hobby, and will amplify growth as we pledge to support each entities race program through out the year, providing one indoor facility for all of our racers to attend during the indoor season. Additionally it will also allow us to concentrate our efforts on creating one of the best outdoor facilities in the state. Finally we want to take this opportunity to thank each you in advance for your support, as we all work together for one great cause.

Our 2007-2008 Indoor season is officially over till next September 19th, warm-up race, when we host the OHIO RC PRO SERIES Championship Race. We want thank those who came out and had fun with us throughout our season. It is now time to support our brother tracks that run in the summer months. We have provided a section for all of us to talk about the summer racing. We are looking forward to going to your tracks and being entertained with excellent racing.

We will be holding another indoor swap meet on May 3rd in our normal club building. Doors open at 7:30 am and will run till noon to allow nitro racing to begin. Tables will be available for rental space for $10 each. Spectators are free admission and we welcome all to attend so pass the word. Buy sell or trade anything R/C!!!

April fools race is coming up. We will have a fresh track with all the traction in the world!!
Friday, April 4th————-Production MT, Arena Truck, *we also have at least a heat of *1/8 scale and *1/10 GT, Doors open @ 6pm and racing starts at 8pm
Saturday, April 5th,——–1/8 scale buggy/arena truck, 1/10 GT, Doors open at 12 noon, racing starts @ 4pm. We allways have a great turn out of all of our nitro classes.
Sunday, April 6th, ———–All electric, Doors open at 8am, racing starts @ 12 noon.
We have some great trophies give away and who know what other pranks that could be pulled, it is April Fools Day!! Trophies for the top 3 in all classess. *Friday night race will trophy only PMT & Arena MT.

Time again for the season long indoor points series this weekend!!! Since Ole Man winter dumped a load of snow on us this past weekend everyone should be ready for this one!! Dust those cars off and get ready, March 14th for Arena Truck & Production MT, March 15th for nitro action 1/8 scale buggy/arena truck, 1/10 GT, March 16th anything electric. We have some great prizes planned for the winners of each class!!!
